Connection and Mission

At Mt. Zion Community Church, faith is more than Sunday worship — it’s a shared journey of growing in grace and living out God’s love every day. Through our Nurture, Outreach, and Witness Team, we seek to connect people to Christ, care for one another, and serve our community with compassion and purpose.

Nurture – Growing Together in Christ

We believe disciples grow best in community. Our small groups and Bible studies provide a welcoming place to learn God’s Word, share life together, and encourage one another in prayer and faith. Whether you’re new to the Bible or have been studying it for years, there’s a place for you to grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus.

Outreach – Serving Our Community

We are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Our church partners with local and global ministries to bring hope, healing, and help to those in need. Current outreach efforts include:

Lifewise Academy – supporting Bible-based education in our local schools.

BORN (Bucyrus Outreach for Restoration Network) – meeting immediate needs for families and individuals in crisis.

Samaritan’s Purse and Operation Christmas Child – sharing God’s love with people around the world through practical aid and gifts of hope.

Witness – Sharing the Good News

We believe every believer is called to be a witness for Christ through both word and action. Our congregation seeks to live out the Gospel daily — in our homes, workplaces, schools, and neighborhoods — pointing others to the transforming love of Jesus Christ.

“You will be my witnesses… to the ends of the earth.” — Acts 1:8
